The business has partnered with Allen’s Training to provide clients with a recognized training solution and gives MSC strong industry support when designing training solutions for clients. These services have all been delivered with a commitment to quality and satisfying client requirements
Consultant and Trainer, Mathew
Mathew Smallwood has over 25 years security, safety and risk management experience, working internationally and domestically.
He is responsible for the strong relationships between MSC and its clients. Mathew has a Diploma in Security Risk Management and has actively provided advice and recommendation on business continuity and emergency management planning for major events, commercial and public businesses. Mathew is passionate about safety and training and ensuring both employers and employees are trained and aware of their responsibilities.
For the past eight years, Mathew has been the emergency management consultant to Bunhill Place and assisted other departments within the City of Casey on emergency management, safety and security concerns.
During the last 12 months MSC has provided emergency management services for the creation of EMP’s for City of Casey’s VIBE, Casey Fields Works Depot’s and the Stephenson’s Rd Closed Landfill Site. All EMP’s were created with a uniform design to standardize the documents across the different departments within Council.
MSC recently completed a complex EMP for Monash University Performing Arts Centre where we produced a single EMP that covered five Performing Arts Facilities between Clayton and Frankston under one plan. The plan was created to allow Monash University Performing Arts Centers to be managed independently of the wider University for emergency scenarios.
MSC recently completed an EMP for the new Keys borough Community Hub that has stakeholders including Library, Meeting Rooms, Maternal Child Health facilities, external Kindergarten and Council offices. These plans involved a range of departments who share the operating spaces and come together for the management and implementation of the emergency management response when the needs arise. This project was challenging due to the external kindergarten and working with the Department of education and early learning teams. This recent experience will be very useful in support of this tender, especially when incorporating both the needs and legislative requirements of childcare centers.
